K-8 La Palabra in Spanish

Service Description

This class is open to children with no language proficiency or previous exposure, as well as to those whose parents want to improve their child's Spanish skills in a playful engaging environment with a Christian perspective. Students will experience the complete structure and sound of the Spanish language while they enjoy participating in arts & crafts, music, movement, role-playing, story telling, interactive games, and snack-tivities. This will be a faith based Spanish class with emphasis in God's word and His Great Commission. We will practice Spanish evangelism using Living Waters resources and training methods in a child friendly manner. Living Waters provides tools to better equip believers young and old in sharing the gospel. We will incorporate memorization of John 3:16 & John 14:6 in Spanish. Activities are designed to be fun and engaging yet based on God's truth and with reverence for HIs Word. The goal of this class is to provide students with useful and meaningful Spanish language experiences in an anxiety-free environment where they will quickly begin to use functional Spanish to express themselves and to communicate with others about Jesus.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your enrollment and don't plan on attending any classes during the semester, your $20 registration fee will be reimbursed up to 1-week before the first day of the semester. All unused class fees will be reimbursed up to 24 hours before the first day of the semester, minus the non-returnable portion of your class fees that went toward class materials for your student. If a child needs to drop a class after the semester has begun, we can prorate their class fees up til the end of the third week. No class fees will be returned or prorated after the end of the 3rd week. If you're joining the class late, prorated policies are determined on a case-by-case basis, by each instructor.
