K-8 Worship Dance & Movement (*Phys Ed)

Service Description

2 Samuel 6:14 ...And David danced before the Lord with all his might... Dance Worship is a way to express joy and gratitude for the One who gave us gifts and talents. This dance class will be a combination of worship and dance expression. The children will practice creativity as they learn organized movements and choreography to contemporary worship songs. Dance has been proven to be a great way to improve cardiovascular fitness, endurance, coordination, stamina, and confidence in children. We will also incorporate Liturgical dance used as a means to express worship, thanks, or adoration to God, or for telling a story or bringing a Christian message. We will use movement as a way to praise HIm. Psalm 149:3 says, "Let them praise his name with dancing; let them sing praises to Him timbrel and lyre"

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your enrollment and don't plan on attending any classes during the semester, your $20 registration fee will be reimbursed up to 1-week before the first day of the semester. All unused class fees will be reimbursed up to 24 hours before the first day of the semester, minus the non-returnable portion of your class fees that went toward class materials for your student. If a child needs to drop a class after the semester has begun, we can prorate their class fees up til the end of the third week. No class fees will be returned or prorated after the end of the 3rd week. If you're joining the class late, prorated policies are determined on a case-by-case basis, by each instructor.
