PreK-8 Bread of Life (*Culinary)

Service Description

In John 6:35 - "Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. In this class students will learn the amazing gift that Christ is to the world! We will focus on the messages and miracles surround bread in the Bible. In this faith-based social studies / baking class we will also discover the similarities and differences of people and places around the world, recognizing that Christ used the symbolism of bread because it is an essential staple in all cultures. Students will learn to and follow several different bread recipes and understand how making bread is different from other kinds of baked goods. Each week students will be able to take home samples we’ve baked. They will explore the cultures related to each type of bread by taste, smells, ingredients, baking techniques and other fun activities.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your enrollment and don't plan on attending any classes during the semester, your $20 registration fee will be reimbursed up to 1-week before the first day of the semester. All unused class fees will be reimbursed up to 24 hours before the first day of the semester, minus the non-returnable portion of your class fees that went toward class materials for your student. If a child needs to drop a class after the semester has begun, we can prorate their class fees up til the end of the third week. No class fees will be returned or prorated after the end of the 3rd week. If you're joining the class late, prorated policies are determined on a case-by-case basis, by each instructor.
