Service Description

Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Children are inquisitive and the thing that we most want our children to have a desire to learn and understand is their faith in the LORD and a knowledge that He is real. Sometimes it’s difficult for even us adults to know how to articulate what we believe and why. In this class students will be taught how to investigate, make observations and come to clear conclusions by showing them HOW TO THINK rather than telling them WHAT TO THINK. “Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” - Matthew 22:37-40 This is a fun and simplified ‘Who-Done-It’ class, directing students to solve the case for Christianity. Activities will include biology projects, basic chemistry, decoding, matching, critical thinking, solving age-appropriate crimes and overall observation skills. Throughout this class students will be presented with a badge and tools that, as junior private detectives, they will need in order to test witnesses, find clues and examine evidence. As children learn these investigative skills it will in turn teach them how to tackle hard questions about their faith which they will inevitably be presented with as young believers in Christ. This will encourage confidence in sharing what they know with others. At the end of the course students will be presented with a Private Investigator Certificate. “Since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” - Romans 1:19-20 It is my greatness desire to teach children to love God and to know Him, which is made possible through Him and by the evidence of His creation!

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your enrollment and don't plan on attending any classes during the semester, your $20 registration fee will be reimbursed up to 1-week before the first day of the semester. All unused class fees will be reimbursed up to 24 hours before the first day of the semester, minus the non-returnable portion of your class fees that went toward class materials for your student. If a child needs to drop a class after the semester has begun, we can prorate their class fees up til the end of the third week. No class fees will be returned or prorated after the end of the 3rd week. If you're joining the class late, prorated policies are determined on a case-by-case basis, by each instructor.
